Micah 3:4-5
KJV 4 Then shall they cry unto the LORD, but he will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves ill in their doings. 5 Thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him.
WEB 4 Then they will cry to Yahweh, but he will not answer them. Yes, he will hide his face from them at that time, because they made their deeds evil.” 5 Yahweh says concerning the prophets who lead my people astray; for those who feed their teeth, they proclaim, “Peace!” and whoever doesn’t provide for their mouths, they prepare war against him:

4 This is a sad place to be, hell is eternity without hope and where God leaves us to the evil we chose to live in. Sometimes we fall so far that God let us face the evil in of life. We need to listen to Him and follow Him and He will listen and help us when we cry out to Him.

5 These are false prophets or prophets of idol gods and not prophets of the Lord because they are telling people what they want to hear and Micah is sharing God’s word even though people don’t want to hear it. We need to share truth not because it is popular but because it is right.

Clark's Reflections / 1 Peter 1:22-25

1 Peter 1:22-25
KJV 22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: 23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. 24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: 25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
WEB 22 Seeing you have purified your souls in your obedience to the truth through the Spirit in sincere brotherly affection, love one another from the heart fervently, 23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, which lives and remains forever. 24 For, “All flesh is like grass, and all of man’s glory like the flower in the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls; 25but the Lord’s word endures forever.” This is the word of Good News which was preached to you.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

22 Hearing God’s truth should bring us to a greater life and more pure life. We are to be moved by the Spirit with love for both the Lord and also one another.

23 We are now as Christians born in the pureness of the Holy Spirit being born no longer in the sinful flesh of sin that leads to death but in the Spirit that leads us to the life that doesn’t end.

24 We still have the flesh but we are to grow in the Spirit even though our flesh remains and sometimes our spirit is pushed to grow more because we fight our flesh.

25 God word is always and will always be true just as He is.

Micah 3:1-3
KJV 1 And I said, Hear, I pray you, O heads of Jacob, and ye princes of the house of Israel; Is it not for you to know judgment? 2 Who hate the good, and love the evil; who pluck off their skin from off them, and their flesh from off their bones; 3 Who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them; and they break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron.
WEB 1 I said, “Please listen, you heads of Jacob, and rulers of the house of Israel: Isn’t it for you to know justice? 2 You who hate the good, and love the evil; who tear off their skin, and their flesh from off their bones; 3 who also eat the flesh of my people, and peel their skin from off them, and break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as meat within the cauldron.

1 We need to listen and read and seek the word of the Lord and seek His will and read the bible. Israel had times of rebelling and seeking God we may as well but it is far better for us to just have a period of seeking the Lord without a period of falling out.

2 We as believers could be said to once love evil or sin but now that we follow Jesus and have the Holy Spirit we are to love good and not love or follow evil, we are to please Him and not please our sinful flesh.

3 They may have turned to cannibalism as a part of pagan worship by child sacrifices, this is something that isn’t done today in most areas.

Micah 2:13
KJV 13 The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them, and the LORD on the head of them.
WEB 13 He who breaks open the way goes up before them. They break through the gate, and go out. And their king passes on before them, with Yahweh at their head.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.
God often breaks the way for us and this leads us on His path the good but satan also wants to break down the wrong paths for us hoping this will be the way we go instead of following the Lord. Are we breaking down doors or waiting for the Lord to open them? Are we letting God break down paths that we wouldn’t ever be able to cross without Him? We should have the Lord as are head if not then that is our first problem.

Micah 2:10-12
KJV 10 Arise ye, and depart; for this is not your rest: because it is polluted, it shall destroy you, even with a sore destruction. 11 If a man walking in the spirit and falsehood do lie, saying, I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people. 12 I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by reason of the multitude of men.
WEB 10 Arise, and depart! For this is not your resting place, because of uncleanness that destroys, even with a grievous destruction. 11 If a man walking in a spirit of falsehood lies: “I will prophesy to you of wine and of strong drink;” he would be the prophet of this people. 12 I will surely assemble, Jacob, all of you; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as a flock in the middle of their pasture; they will swarm with people.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

10 We don’t need to truly rest in this world because this world is going to pass away instead we are to take rest in our Lord Jesus Christ. This world is so unclean and God in His time will send the judgment that ends the earth.

11 People cant walk with falsehood and be in the truth, we don’t need to walk in anything but the truth, we shouldn’t spend time sharing lies but tell the truth and share His truth. Wine and strong drink this had been a problem since wine was started the problem of drinking too much.

12 Israel often was put together by God’s hand and sometimes it would be for things like the exile and other times it would be for them to do right by turning to the Lord. We need stand together as a church in the will of the Lord.

Clark's Reflections / 1 Peter 1:19-21

1 Peter 1:19-21
KJV 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 21Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
WEB 19 but with precious blood, as of a lamb without blemish or spot, the blood of Christ, 20 who was foreknown indeed before the foundation of the world, but was revealed in this last age for your sake,21 who through him are believers in God, who raised him from the dead, and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope might be in God.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

19 We are saved by the shedding of Jesus’ blood that provided us grace and gave us a relationship with the Lord thru Christ.

20 God had these plans before He made creation and from before time began. God’s plan continues thru the end of the age.

21 We believe in God because of the Lord and His grace. God raised Him from death and since that day He has raised many Christians from the death of sin and brought them to His glory of salvation. He is our hope and faith.

Micah 2:8-9
KJV 8 Even of late my people is risen up as an enemy: ye pull off the robe with the garment from them that pass by securely as men averse from war. 9 The women of my people have ye cast out from their pleasant houses; from their children have ye taken away my glory for ever.
WEB 8 But lately my people have risen up as an enemy. You strip the robe and clothing from those who pass by without a care, returning from battle. 9 You drive the women of my people out from their pleasant houses; from their young children you take away my blessing forever.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

8 We need to be submissive to the Lord and His will, the last thing we need to do is to become enemies or live as such of the Lord. We need to show our love for the Lord by loving each other, we cant truly love God and not love one another.

9 Women and children of that time were always seen as the unprotected, to harm them showed a uncaring and desire to harm anyone. We need to show respect to each other and most important show a reverence to the Lord.

Micah 2:5-7
KJV 5 Therefore thou shalt have none that shall cast a cord by lot in the congregation of the LORD. 6 Prophesy ye not, say they to them that prophesy: they shall not prophesy to them, that they shall not take shame. 7 O thou that art named the house of Jacob, is the spirit of the LORD straitened? are these his doings? do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly?
WEB 5 Therefore you will have no one who divides the land by lot in Yahweh’s assembly. 6 “Don’t prophesy!” They prophesy. “Don’t prophesy about these things. Disgrace won’t overtake us.” 7 Shall it be said, O house of Jacob: “Is Yahweh’s Spirit angry? Are these his doings? Don’t my words do good to him who walks blamelessly?”

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

5 This may mean that they are going to lose the land the Lord had divided among them.

6 They didn’t want to hear the truth and denied it. Those who reject the gospel react in this same manner. Them rejecting it doesn’t change what will happen.

7 God’s Spirit was angry because of their rebellion against Him. We need to walk after Him and not after sin.

1 Peter 1:17-18
KJV 17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: 18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
WEB 17 If you call on him as Father, who without respect of persons judges according to each man’s work, pass the time of your living as foreigners here in reverent fear, 18 knowing that you were redeemed, not with corruptible things, with silver or gold, from the useless way of life handed down from your fathers,

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

17 We should call out to the Lord and look to Him for direction. God is doesn’t judge based off anything more then the heart and actions. We can’t see the heart but see actions. We should let people have chances to do works for the Lord but sometimes people maybe trying to rush God’s plan and if we do we often rush growth or expect work without the growth first.

18 Silver and gold and doesn’t mean much compared to the cross, nothing is more valuable then us having a restored relationship with the Lord.
